WHICH WELL?<\/span><\/p>\n

Have you ever seen church folks that are constantly chasing something new?\u00a0 Often they become \u201cchurch hoppers\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0They find a church and it is wonderful.\u00a0 The pastor is great.\u00a0 The music is out of this world.\u00a0 The programs are perfect.\u00a0 It is not long before something sours.\u00a0 They are off looking again. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Others are constantly looking for some new spiritual experience. \u00a0 They hear about a new book, a different conference, another preacher\/teacher.\u00a0 Always on the search for something new.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

People, with glowing and upturned faces give exuberant reports of the latest blessings.\u00a0 Their implications often seems to be that you are missing out on the latest.\u00a0 They have experienced religion in a way you have not.\u00a0 You have not been blessed with the experience they have. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The problem?\u00a0 Maybe you are not good enough, (I thought it was about grace).\u00a0 Maybe you aren\u2019t holding your hands right when you lift them in praise or saying the right words.\u00a0 Maybe you haven\u2019t been in the right place. But there is a constant thirst and search for something different. Something new. Something exciting. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Could it be that in your life situation you have not needed that particular blessing?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I thought that Jesus said that whoever came to him and took from him the water of life would never thirst again.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t that enough?<\/span><\/p>\n

Stop chasing after every new thing. \u00a0 Spend some time in the presence of Jesus.\u00a0 He will fill you and satisfy you. \u00a0 He is enough.\u00a0 If you are drinking from the well of newness and excitement it will always run dry.\u00a0 If you are at the well of living water from Jesus, you find satisfaction. John 4:13 – 14<\/span> J<\/span>esus replied, <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u201cAnyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0 But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u201d<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
