Muslims Go Home

Muslims stay home.

It seems that there is a lot of negativism in the US about Muslims moving here. My town of 50 thousand plus has 2 Mosques, 1 prayer room and a lot of Halal stores. Hijabs and long colorful dresses are common.

That doesn’t scare me.

I am a follower of Jesus. I am opposed to Christian Nationalism. I am for the separation of church and state. I went to a parochial College and paid the bill.

Let’s think about what would happen if Muslims were not allowed to move to the US

First, our nation would be much lighter in complexion, with far less black hair-Seems as if we might be moving toward being the same color as Jesus.
Our food would be far more bland. Lamb would be on far fewer menus. Grape leaves would be trashed, and a lot of our cuisine would be different. I would not know what falafel was. —still not sure but I eat it regularly along with some other stuff.

My wife could not greet the Muslim owner of our favorite Halal store with, “I bet I’m the best Christian shopper you have”. He always responds with a nod and a laugh.

The Muslims in our area would not know what it is like to be respected and loved by “infidels” they had been taught hated them and started wars as an excuse to kill Muslims. (I have been told that directly by an educated Muslim Medical Doctor from one of the “Stans”.)

They would not know what it is like to live in a free country with freedom for all religions.

Women would not know what it was like to have equal rights with men.

Their children would not know what it was like to attend schools that focused on academics rather than religion.

They would not experience the love of Christ through their Christian neighbors.

They would not be exposed to the Good News of love, peace, and forgiveness that comes in Jesus.

They would be lost and, according to many, be condemned to hell for eternity.

God is not bringing them here for them to continue living in fear and darkness. He wants them to come to the light and have their lives transformed.  He wants to expose them to people who walk with Him.   He wants them to have the same abundant life you have been gifted.

He has used the turmoil and Chaos caused by the Darkness for good, bringing them from around the world here to experience the Light.

Or do you believe they are beyond the power of the Gospel?  Or do you want the free gift of Grace and forgiveness to be kept for you and your children?

“For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!”
‭ Ephesians ‭5‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Let the Lord’s light shine through you. It can light up your world and theirs.  Believe the Gospel is stronger than the Powers of Darkness.   It changed me!
